Niagara was made for biking. On a Zoom Leisure Tour, you'll visit cool, tree-lined streets dappled with sunlight, stately mansions with storied pasts, idyllic bike paths overlooking the river, and wineries nestled in picture-book settings with no hills to slow your pace.

No confining tour bus with its noise and fumes for you! You'll enjoy the liberating feeling of relying on nothing but your own power as you unwind amid the sights and sounds of a Niagara summer. Experience a delicious sense of freedom as your personal tour guide acquaints you with the must-see landmarks as well as the out-of-the-way treasures that the folks on the bus will never see. It's touring at its most intimate, and it's easy on the environment.

The pace will be relaxed. This is not the Tour de France. There will be plenty stops where you can meet the locals, taste our legendary icewines, and chat with your guide as he or she entertains you with tales of our beloved Niagara. Our guide staff includes teachers, published travel writers and other professionals who are both knowledgeable and have years of experience leading cycling groups.

Our fleet of bikes includes modern comfort cruisers for the ultimate in easy cycling, efficient hybrids for those wishing a more responsive mount, and road/race bikes for riders who will settle for nothing less than a thoroughbred.

Bringing the kids along? No problem as Zoom Leisure has a full selection of child seats, trailers, trail-a-bikes, and tandem bikes.

Pub Lunch & Winery Tour

All tours depart from location 431 Mississagua St. (HWY 55). Alternative starting points are available for groups.

Zoom Tours include your bicycle rental, a Zoom keepsake water bottle filled for your tour, a snack and fresh fruit. Tastings and full tours at local wineries and a fully equipped professional guide. Contingency back-up support accompanies all tours and we also pick up your purchases along the way!

Please arrive 15 minutes before tour departure time to prepare for tour. Reservations recommended.
We recommend you reserve your spot on a Picnic Tour at least 72 hrs in advance to avoid disappointment.
For tours with only 2 people, a $10 surcharge per person is applicable. All prices are subject to applicable taxes (gratuities not included).

WINERY TOURS
A fun and exciting tour! It combines a leisure tour through Niagara country with Niagara’s award winning wines. Join us for an afternoon of Niagara-on-the-Lake history while you learn about the art of wine making and wine tasting. We will visit three local wineries, sampling their award winning wines and our handlebar baskets are just big enough to bring home your favourite bottle of wine! Fit for singles, couples, or groups.

BEER & WINE TOUR

PICNIC WINERY TOUR
Make a daylong excursion into the captivating world of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s history and wine culture. We visit extra wineries and enjoy a mouth-watering picnic lunch by the lake. All of our lunches are prepared fresh by local cafe’s where you will have a choice of sandwiches, fresh Niagara fruit, baked goods, ice cream and other goodies. PUB LUNCH & WINERY TOUR - NIAGARA FALLS
This tour begins at our Niagara Falls location at 6289 Fallsview Blvd. Cycle the beautiful Niagara Parkway and see the sites including the Floral Clock. Stop for a stroll at the Horticultural gardens, and take in the views from Queenston Heights. On the return trip there will be a visit to the local artist district and a stop for lunch and to sample some beer (four different kinds) at our local micro brewery, Taps Brew Pub. Continue down the Parkway where you’ll tour and taste at three local wineries. You’ll finish the tour at our Niagara-on-the-Lake store where we will shuttle you back to our Niagara Falls store.

THE ZOOM GUIDES Zoom Leisure loves their guides! We have a wonderfully diverse group of people who return to us every year to guide our tours. We try to match our groups with the guides we feel suit them the best. We are always looking for new and exciting people to help us give our customers a fun experience in Niagara. Whether they are retired teachers, local Shaw actors or bike enthusiasts who race at a comptetitve level. We have guides who can weld a bike from scratch, are retired from the corporate world and are enjoying retirement at a leisurely pace or eccentric retired millionaires who just want to hang out with people. We have a fun bunch. Meet a few of our guides below (we cannot guarantee any guide for a certain tour, but we will do our best!)
	Steve deBoer As owner of Zoom Leisure, with his wife Rebecca, he’s a busy guy but loves to go out on our tours and talk with the other riders. Steve enjoys the area races and spends as much time as possible on the seat of his bike. He is a local in Niagara-on-the-Lake and can often be found riding along the Parkway with other roadies, or up the escarpment in the trails. He is a graduate of business and hospitality and has enjoyed running Zoom for the past 12 years.
	Jody Lee I must say that I really enjoy taking people on bike tours! It doesn’t matter if they are fast or slow, young or old, novice or elite cyclists, I enjoy the opportunity to meet new people, to ride and to showcase the beauty of the Niagara Region. My adult cycling life started in 1982. I road raced for a few years in the mid to late ’80s. I have worked in the cycling industry since 1987. I started building JESTER bicycle frames in 1994 and continue to do so. With my day-to-day work as an artisan bicycle frame builder and the demands of family life, it is difficult to find the time to ride my bicycle. Taking people on bicycle tours gives me a great "excuse" to go for a bike ride! As a tour guide for Zoom, I have met so many wonderful and interesting people. I hope that I get to meet and ride with past clients once again. I also look forward to making new friends on future tours.
	Jeff Lemon A love of country roads and the friendly local wineries makes Jeff a great guy to take on a tour. You often find Jeff hanging out at the store lending a hand and convincing his fiancé to join him on a ride. He looks forward each year to a tour filled summer. Jeff enjoys exploring the local history and the many great cycling routes of Niagara-on-the Lake. He is also an accomplished local rider who tries to visit the area races.
	John Reep John is a member of the Canadian Tourguide’s Association, he has been leading bike tours with Zoom Leisure for almost a decade. John is a published travel writer and a veteran of countless cycling wine tours both in Europe and North America. His zest for biking, appreciation for wine and professional guiding experience guarantees a tour you’ll remember always!
	Michel LaPointe Michel is a relative newcomer to Niagara-on-the-Lake having moved here in 2007 after living in Nova Scotia for the past 17 years. Michel is not a newcomer to cycling, commuting to work in Ottawa, prior to moving to Nova Scotia, for many years. He renewed his love of cycling after moving here and discovered the many opportunities this region presents. He is recently retired and spent his career with the federal government, starting out as a young Research chemist in the field of agricultural products and then moving on to manage a large food safety laboratory in Nova Scotia. This is his 5th year with ZOOM and he is looking forward to another great summer of cycling.
